The Children and Youth Ministry of FPWC is coined “Excite & Ignite.” It is targeted to our grade school aged members.

Excite & Ignite Mission
Through the teaching of God’s word at a level of their understanding we will help every child and teenager come to know their purpose and destiny in life.  Through providing services that are live and interactive we will give an authentic worship experience full of anointing, excitement and a passion for God.  Through lifestyle evangelism we will lead this next generation into knowledge of Jesus Christ, and the power that is in His name and the destiny track He has prepared for them.

Excite & Ignite Vision
The vision of Excite & Ignite is to bring children and teens in our church and the surrounding neighborhoods to a higher level of spiritual development by teaching them the uncompromising word of God at a level they can comprehend.  It is our objective to offer times of fellowship and fun with other children & teenagers who have made a decision to be examples of Christ in their generation.

Excite (Elementary) Objectives

1. To develop Elementary children to know, grow & show God’s love.
2. To teach children to develop and utilize their talents for God.
3. Implement the importance of prayer life.
4. To teach them how to have meaningful relationships with family & friends & how to become passionate about God at an early age.
5. At this age, youth are very excited & full of energy.  Excite will help channel this God given gift to learn, explore, & understand the world around them and the God who created it.

Ignite (Middle School) Objectives

1. To develop them to embrace who Christ has made them to be.
2. To teach how to love & respect their friends & family through the teaching of the Word of God.
3. To develop natural & spiritual components to help with the shaping of the mental image of themselves & God.
4. Build Christian character & morals.
5. Self esteem, confidence, bible knowledge & communication skills will be special areas of focus for this age group.

Ignite (High School) Objectives

1. Focus to set a fire in life.
2. Train & prepared for adulthood, college & the work force.
3. Become integrated into different ministry functions.
4. Develop passion, purpose & power with special focus areas of righteous living, understanding money, & life skills.
